Check-in time is 4:00 PM or after, Central
Check-out time is 10:00 AM or before, Central
There is no contractual provision for earlier nor later times than shown above...unless specifically requested and approved in writing at least 24 hours ahead of your arrival.
Special Requests
We wish to be as liberal as reasonably possible with our guests, and sometimes we can allow for deviations from the standard check-in and check-out policy:
IF no guests have vacated the property within a few days of your arrival and our cleaning crew has already finished preparing for your arrival, then we will permit entry as early as Noon on your arrival day. IF guests are not scheduled to arrive within two days of your departure, and our cleaning crew is not already scheduled to prepare for the arrival of our next booking on your departure date, then we will allow up to a 2:00 PM departure rather than the standard 10:00AM.
In order to be granted early arrival or late departure:
You may be granted none, either early or late, or both, depending on our booking schedules. You MUST specifically request and be given our permission at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. If previous permission is not requested and granted in writing, then please abide by the above standard times.
Penalty for late check-out without permission. The only reason we would have for not giving you permission for a delayed check-out is if we are on a tight schedule with new guests coming in. If our cleaning crew cannot get in shortly after 10AM to prepare, then the new incoming guests will not be able to get in by 4PM. If that happens, you will be assessed a penalty against your security deposit and still have to vacate the premises!
Arriving Earlier than 4 PM on your scheduled date without permission
NO parking in the driveway or blocking the entry,
NO unloading of personal items
No entry into the property

Delays to your booking
Destin on the Water is not responsible for any arrival delays, cancellations of flights, car problems, etc. As such, no refunds will be made nor considered for any causes of delay. HOWEVER, if your flight is cancelled and you do not arrive at any time on your scheduled arrival date AND we do not have any scheduled booking within 2 days following your scheduled departure date, we will allow you to extend ONE DAY only at no charge. If you have booked for 5 nights, for example, we will try our best to have you enjoy the full 5 nights!
